PLEASE NOTE THE FLU VACCINATION IS FREE OF CHARGE FOR THE FOLLOWING GROUPS:
People aged 65 years and over All pregnant women (including those who became pregnant during flu season) People with serious medical conditions such as:
-Chronic respiratory disease e.g. COPD
-Chronic Heart disease
-Chronic Kidney disease
-Chronic liver disease
-Chronic neurological disease
-Carer status may include:
-People who are in receipt of a carer's allowance
-Those who are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person
-Those with a weakened immune system due to disease such as HIV/AIDS or treatment of cancer

All GP practices are required to declare earnings(i.e. average pay)for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs in the practice of Newton Medical Centre in the last financial year was £54,328 before tax and National Insurance.
This is for 5 full time GPs,1 part-time GP, 2 locum GPSs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
